Fueling Florida’s high tech economic engine by creating a regional hub of excellence in education, technology transfer and infrastructure resources.

CENTECOM Mission: To foster innovation, technology commercialization, and entrepreneurship in Central Florida.

Specifically, CENTECOM is an industry-university-government consortium that acts as a catalyst to facilitate and improve the environment necessary to help entrepreneurs, industry, and campus communities work together to bring Florida’s technologies out of the laboratory and into the marketplace. CENTECOM focuses on:

• Developing and delivering Education and Training programs to increase the number and sophistication levels of technology entrepreneurs and high-tech entrepreneurial startups in Florida

• Identifying commercial applications of developed and developing technology and facilitating and fostering technology transfer

• Providing infrastructure to enable the innovation, technology commercialization and entrepreneurial processes

• Providing special program curriculum and mentors to underrepresented groups
