The objective of the N2TEC Rural Pilot Project is to demonstrate the ability to effectively network innovators, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurial communities to develop new technology-based businesses and expand existing businesses in rural regions. The model will be tested in the Black Hills communities and then expanded to other rural communities throughout South Dakota and nationally.
Participating communities will work with the N2TEC team to evaluate their community as a technology-based entrepreneurship environment and create a strategy to become a High Performance Community that encourages and supports technology-based entrepreneurs and business development.
