Case Western Reserve University

Case Western Reserve University is one of the nation's leading independent research universities, with programs that encompass the arts and sciences, engineering, the health sciences, law, management, and social work.

CWRU has launched a number of innovative programs in technology entrepreneurship, including the Miller Center for Entrepreneurship, The Institute for the Integration of Management and Engineering, and a series of Master's Programs in Science Entrepreneurship.

The Physics Entrepreneurship Program, launched in the Fall of 2000 by the CWRU Physics Department and the Weatherhead School of Management is the first of these new programs. It provides students with a strong background in Physics with the training, network of contacts and resources they need to create and successfully grown new hi-tech ventures. With the assistance of the Sloan Foundation and the Coleman Foundation/U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the model of the Physics Entrepreneurship Program is being expanded to the other sciences.
