CEO PRAXIS
CEO Praxis, Inc. is a growth strategy company that works with entrepreneurial leaders to develop and implement economic strategies that make their communities and regions more competitive and livable.
CEO Praxis is an eight-time winner in the Small Business Innovation Research program and a 1997 winner of SBA's National Tibbetts award for contributions to and success in the SBIR Program. This research, totaling over $1 million, has resulted in innovative techniques, practices and tools to help economic developers and community leaders, particularly in urbanized rural regions, create an entrepreneurial culture and work more effectively with entrepreneurs in technology and information industries.
CEO Praxis and the Denver-based Center for the New West developed the High Performance Community™ Initiative, a strategy development initiative designed to help communities and regions become fast, focused, flexible, customized, networked, and global. The HPC has been implemented in 15 states. The High-Performance Community initiative is based on "enterprise homesteading®," a trademarked development approach to attracting entrepreneurs in technology and information industries to rural communities.
Delore Zimmerman, President of CEO Praxis, currently serves as the Director of the Coordinating Center of the Red River Valley Research Corridor, an initiative spearheaded by U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan that is building world-class research centers at North Daktoa’s universities and supporting the region’s growing high-tech sector.
CEO Praxis is the managing member of the Center of North America Capital Fund, LLC, a community development venture capital company that invests in early stage and expanding companies with exciting ideas and high potential.
