Cornell University
Cornell is among the world's leaders in information
technology and is home to many of the Internet pioneers of the 1960s and 1970s
who blazed information trails via telephone lines from one research institution
to another.
Cornell's Center for Theory and Simulation in Science and
Engineering has one of the largest and fastest supercomputers in the academic
world. It is also home to a major digital video library project building on the
expertise of the Cornell Library System.
Cornell's Role in N2TEC
Cornell will be building a national digital video library
to house video clips on various facets of entrepreneurship and technology
commercialization.
