California State University, Fresno Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Established in 1911, California State University, Fresno is one of the 23 campuses of the California State University, one of the largest systems of higher education in the world.The university is accredited by the California Board of Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It has 26 nationally accredited departmental programs, among the highest number within the CSU system. Fresno State's 327-acre main campus and its 1,083-acre University Farm are located at the northeast edge of Fresno, California, at the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada range. The surrounding San Joaquin Valley is one of the richest agricultural areas in the world, and Fresno County is the sixth largest metropolitan area in California. The Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is strategically positioned within California State University, Fresno. We leverage resources from across the University to advance innovation and entrepreneurship both on and off campus. Serving Central Valley Entrepreneurs and Innovators, our goal is to inspire innovation and provide entrepreneurs with the information and resources they need. We serve as a bridge between the university and the community connecting faculty, staff and students to community resources and connecting the community with resources on campus.

Provide regional based economic development consulting. Identify and evaluate community readiness for technology to build and grow industry clusters that support regional economic conditions and serve as a base for job creation.
